  • Attend an accredited university - you'll need a degree
  • Get your teaching certificate from Ohio Dept. of Education
  • Make sure you have your ducks in a row - resume, portfolio, references, letters of recommendation, transcripts, 1st born son (kidding on that last one...but you get the idea...intensivie process)
  • Identify the district or area that you want to teach in. 
  • Apply online for the Ohio teaching job you like. Follow-up with the principal or hiring manager.
