TeacherPortal Salary Comfort Score

13th

friendliest state for teachers

Massachusetts teachers live in a state full of history and culture. Unfortunately a high price tag on cost-of-living comes with that.

This state is 2nd in terms of average salaries, but on our comfort scale they're at 13th.  This is a state where we highly recommend (more than most) to get your Masters in Education. if you're thinking about becoming a teacher in Massachusetts get your teaching degree & master's degree right away.
